The Gift Of Focus (and a lot of trial & error)

After running toward various ventures & ideas I had a flash of insight a month or so ago… why not just focus my all on what is actually making money right now.
That level-headed wisdom, mixed with finally getting a sales page that works, has brought much success to the? Content Spooling Network as of late.? (It also has helped that one of my members posted a great testimonial on a private membership forum of a high-profile marketing site.)
God has been blessing my efforts and it seems every day for the past week or two I’ve gotten at least one new member. ? Compare that to a dry spell I experienced last June or so where I must have gone weeks without a new member.
Some training from Ryan Deiss? prompted me to change my sales page for the month of August so that I wasn’t promoting CSN membership directly, instead I was promoting a training product and then giving people a “free trial” of CSN when they bought the training product.? I didn’t keep great stats, but I’m pretty sure most of the people canceled.
So I changed the sales page back to promoting CSN membership, but also added a 21 day free trial (since I’m not a great copywriter and wanted people to see for themselves how great CSN is).
Promoting my CSN membership instead of just back-ending people into it from their purchase of a training product has been much more successful.? And the 21 day free trial I think has helped things immensely.
So after 5 or so complete rewrites of the sales letter since the launch this past February, I’ve finally got one that works!
I also added a section on the member page that walks new members step-by-step toward getting set up in the system.? ? There’s now a noticeable improvement in how long it takes a new member to get set up.? That is just one of the many enhancements lately that have made CSN better than ever.
As you can tell, I’m very exciting about the future of the Content Spooling Network!
